Response Time:
Normal/Regular: usually within 2 to 4 business days Emergency: within 4 hours.
|
Definitions:
After-Hours - Services that require the technician to work outside of normal business hours that are not included in Special Projects.
Business - Any client that has four or more computers on the premises.
Business Hours - Normal business hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm Eastern, Monday thru Friday, except national holidays.
Emergency Response Time: within 4 hours of receiving a confirmed request for an emergency help call.
Emergency Service Fee - This additional fee is charged when the client requires a technician within four hours of the time of the request for emergency assistance. Please note, this is in addition to the hourly rate regardless of time-of-day or which day. If an Emergency call is NOT "cancelled with confirmation" before the technician arrives in the client's parking lot, then this fee will be charged even if no work is performed. Also, the technician must arrive within four hours after receiving a confirmed request for emergency help for this fee to be charged.
Individual - A client whose computer(s) are located at home, or a person who runs their business out of their home. Also, this client has no more than two computers on the premises.
Late Fees - If the payment is not completed within 5 business days, then a $25 Late Fee is added to the invoice. When an invoice becomes past due more than 30 days, then interest at an APR of 25% will be added/accrued, compounded monthly from the original due date of the new balance each month.
Normal/Regular Response Time - within 48 hours (by 9:00am of the second business day after a confirmed request for help).
Regular Maintenance - is normally charged "one hour per workstation" (not on the actual time required to perform the regular maintenance). This is because some downloads and workstations and internet connections will take longer than others. "Regular Maintenance" includes the following: Download/Install Security Updates and Patches, Defrag, Scandisk, Verify Backups are working, Dust Removal, Anti-Virus Scan, Anti-Spyware Scan, check Anti-Spam settings.
Small Business - A SOHO, or a small business whose computer(s) are in an office located in a non-residentail zone. This client has no more than three computers on the premises.
Special Projects - This category corresponds to any programming projects, such as batch/script programming, database design/maintenance, some website design, etc. These are billed on a Per-Project basis.
Wait Around Fee - There are some occasions when a client calls for help, whether for an Emergency or for a Normal Service Call and then when I arrive, they are too busy for me to work on their computers, or cannot be interrupted. This is understandable, because you have to continue with your clients. However, I charge by the hour, so you should expect to pay for every hour of my time time that I must wait for access to perform the work that your company requested of my services.
NOTES -
*All service except "Special Projects" and "Regular Maintenance" will be charged strictly on an Hourly basis beginning July 1, 2004.
*Not all services require that the technician be on-site to perform the service.
*The act of not charging all applicable fees at time of service does not negate the right to charge these fees for future service calls.
*These policies and rates may change at any time and without notice.
