Warranty Policy
This warranty policy is intended to protect you, the Customer, and LanCom Consultants from any wrongdoing or mis-understandings. LanCom Consultants withholds the right to change this and all policies at any time without any further notification to anyone, except to provide such changes to this policy on this site within 30 days of such change.
Any such changes will take effect immediately upon publishing on this site, and will supersede all previous warranties or warranty policies. Any other statements made by LanCom Consultants or representatives thereof shall considered null and void if such statements disagree or contradict this warranty policy or any other policy authorized by LanCom Consultants to be placed on this website.
Parts purchased directly from LanCom Consultants have a limited warranty of thirty(30) days through LanCom Consultants, after this initial period any remaining warranty is through the respective manufacturers. Complete Computer Systems purchased through LanCom Consultants have a minimum limited warranty of one(1) year, after this initial period any remaining warranty is through the respective manufacturers of the individual parts within the Computer System; exceptions to this include any Extended Warranty purchased from LanCom Consultants.
After any initial warranty period, whether 30 days, 1 year, or otherwise, AND if there is a remaining Warranty Period from the manufacturer of said part, then LanCom Consultants will provide support by cooperating with the manufacturer to replace/repair the part as per the manufacturer's warranty at a rate charged to the customer not to exceed one-third the labor rate for that customer. LanCom Consultants offers replacement or exchanges for defective parts during the first 30 days only.
On parts and systems purchased thru any non-local retail vendor, the only warranty will be that supplied by the non-local retail vendor. LanCom Consultants will provide support using the one-third rate as described above.
At any time, the customer may communicate and work directly with the manufacturer except when the customer has a contract with LanCom Consultants. If you are not sure of the warranty status of an item purchased from or through LanCom Consultants, then please contact us and we will research this information for you.
If any parts or systems are damaged because of abuse or mis-use of any kind, then the warranty for the part and any system that contains the part or parts will be null and void. All parts and systems must be connected to a UPS(un-interruptible power supply) at all times or the warranty will become null and void. Parts/Systems that LanCom Consultants determines to be defective and are within the LanCom Consultants Warranty period will be either repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of LanCom Consultants. Extended limited warranties are available on some systems, check with LanCom Consultants for availability.
LanCom Consultants may choose to exercise leniency on a case by case basis to certain customers at the sole discretion of LanCom Consultants. Further, if LanCom Consultants chooses to exercise such right, this will not affect the right of LanCom Consultants to fully enforce this warranty policy at any time for any customer.
A list of manufacturers may be provided on this site in the future for the customer's convenience, the accuracy of which is not guaranteed.
